Date of Appointment: 04 April 2022- Mr. Sanjay Shirgave commenced his banking career with our institution in 1989 as a Peon.
- He has been an integral part of the bank for over 32 years, demonstrating exceptional commitment and leadership throughout his tenure.
- Over the course of his career, he has earned eight well-deserved promotions, reflecting his consistent performance and dedication.
- For the past ten years, he has held key positions in middle and senior management, contributing significantly to the bank’s growth and operational excellence.
- He subsequently advanced to the position of General Manager, overseeing critical administrative and strategic functions.
- In recognition of his extensive experience and leadership capabilities, he has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Whole Time Director of the bank.
- His appointment has been made in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines and the ‘fit and proper’ criteria prescribed for such positions.
- He has more than 32 years of experience in banking activities, including Investments, Audit & Inspection, Secretary, Legal, HRD, EDP, Staff training programs, policy formation, Loans & Advances, etc. He has also attended various training programs conducted by IIBF, VAMNICOM & CAB-Pune and actively imparted knowledge to employees and others.
- He is well-qualified, holding degrees and certifications such as B.A., M.A. (Eco), MBA, CAIIB, ADUCB (IIBF), GDC&A, AMFI-Mutual Fund Advisor, AML KYC (IIBF), PGDFA (IIBF), Certified Treasury Management, Customer Service Banking, Diploma in Home Loan Advising, NSE Certification in Financial Market, and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
